Overall, I enjoyed reading Sandra Cisneros’works, and found them to send a message that stuck with me, even after I completedmy writing. I liked the topics of her stories, and thought that they were easilyrelatable. However, she incorporated her Mexican background as a significantpart of the books, which I found to be boring and not relevant to my thesis. She includes multiple themes, so I would suggest that anyone reading her bookswould try to uncover some of the less oblivious themes, because they are moreinsightful and meaningful. I thought that the actual reading was notchallenging and most of her books are not very long, but take a while to read. Shewrites in short stories, which I found was hard to follow. I would stronglyrecommend this author to others because it was meaningful and time worthy.

American Author Thesis

Now that you have written your essay, we ask that you reflect on the reading portion of the experience and write 100-150 words about your author.

Think of what you write as advice for someone next year and beyond, someone who (like you were doing last fall) is thinking about choosing your author - and maybe even the same three books - to read for the assignment.
